Mid-Winter Hat

The Mid-Winter collection continues with a hat. Not only a very necessary accessory in the winter season it is also a fun way to dress up your outside wardrobe with some fun colors.

Just like the mittens the grams are listed for each color so you can make this a scrap-busting project if you want. I wanted matching hat mittens and cowl so I am using five skeins of DK weight yarn from FireWeed.Fibre. co in their buttercup base to make the set. This hat would also look great in just two colors.

Color 1 Blue Christmas buttercup DK ( 25 grams )
Color 2 Eastern Bluebird Buttercup DK ( 10 grams )
Color 3 Graphite Buttercup DK ( 10 grams)
Color 4 Whiskey Jack Buttercup DK (10 grams )
Color 5 Belted Kingfisher Buttercup DK ( 10 grams )

Or 60 grams in colors of your choice

20 Stitches over 4 inches (DK)
18 Stitches over 4 inches (Worsted)
